It is no secret that some of our favorite tennis athletes have great style and are having some influence in the world of fashion. It’s not easy to look good while running down balls that are coming at you at 120mph with sweat dripping down your face.
With 2014 US Open Tennis less than a week away, Fashion Reverie decided to draw attention to some of the top tennis players that have a fashion sense on and off the court. It is no secret that after dominating the court these tennis stars dominate red carpets and gala affairs.

Djoker Nole (Novak Djokovic) is number one on the ATP list, personality list and sense of style list. This witty 27-year old has taken the hearts of many tennis fans with his performances and impersonations of fellow colleagues during matches. His rivals might not be thrilled by his courtside imitations, but Anna Wintour has shown her support. If she is not watching him play during the US Open, she makes an appearance at the annual Djokovic Foundation Gala—even though it happens during NYFW.
Over the years, Djokovic has picked up few fashion tips. His style is simple but very chic. He is often seen hand in hand with his best attribute, wife Jelena. The couple wed just few weeks ago in Montenegro, on the island resort of St. Stefan.

Maria Sharapova could be mistaken for a Russian supermodel. This Russian beauty and six-time Grand Slam champion has been featured in many advertisements and has had many modeling assignments, topped with a feature in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Fact is she looks stunning in editorials but she developed great sense of style on her own, proven by her very chic outfits!! Glam, sporty or casual, she knows how to dress!

Ana Ivanovic is another Grand Slam winner with supermodel potential. She has had ups and downs in her career, but when it comes to wardrobe choices there’s no back and forth! She is often called the most beautiful woman of tennis and she is single, so guys can we challenge you?
The rumor is she is one tough cookie and definitely has plans to move even further up on ATP list. Serena and Maria watch out! Sharapova has found that delicate balance between classic long gowns that make her look very feminine and short dresses that give her a more playful youthful appearance.

Number one on the WTA ranking list is Serena Williams. She is high on Fashion Reverie’s list of best-dressed tennis players and is known to turns heads on the red carpet.
Serena is curvy, tall and athletic and sure knows how to show off her attributes. She picks colors that match her dark complexion and fiery personality. Serena in a royal purple dress was one of Fashion Reverie’s favorites for the color, but she is also eye catching when she show off her delicious curves in a red dress. We had to share a photo with our readers of Serena with her puppy, lounging by the pool but still ready for a last minute red carpet appearance. (On the QT, Serena is showing her collection during New York Fashion Week, right after the US Open. Fashion Reverie will be front row center, bringing you all the 411 on Serena’s spring 2015 collection.)
Fashion Reverie wishes them all lots of success at the 2014 US Open. Keep looking fabulous on and off the court!
