
Georgia May Jagger has a new job. Already the face of Minelli, Jagger adds the face of Mugler’s Angel to her growing list of campaigns.
“Today, we want to offer Angel an ambassador worthy of its audacity and avant-gardism. Georgia May Jagger, daughter of Jerry Hall, Thierry Mugler and Angel’s icon 19 years ago,” explains Sandrine Groslier, President of Clarins Fragrance Group, in a fashionmag.com article.
Sources believe that Jagger was chosen as the new face of Angel for her ability to attract young consumers and her huge social media following. Angel is one of the top ten women’s fragrances sold.
Tyra’s Empire
If “America’s Next Top Model” (AMTM) and a New York Times Bestseller were not enough, Tyra Banks, supermodel-cum-media mogul, has expanded into the beauty industry with the launch of her makeup line, TYRA.
“I wanted to make a makeup line because of my personal story,” the 40-year-old Banks told the Daily News. “Believe it or not, I don’t wake up looking like a supermodel,” she continued. “My beauty is enhanced by things in a bottle … Makeup is the great equalizer.”
“I didn’t want to do just a mascara or any blush,” Banks told the Daily News. “We’re obsessed with being first, unique or best. All of our products took a long time to develop …”

Benettons Everywhere
Despite a down US stock market, the Russian economy seems to be booming, evidenced by the 40 new Benetton stores due to open in the country of Pushkin, samovars, and the Bolshoi Ballet.
On October 9, the Italian brand opened its flagship store in Moscow. The forty new stores will open over a three-year period with new stores opening this fall in Moscow and the Moscow region.
