American Music Awards (AMAs) 2014 were last night’s most popular and highly rated show. If you ask people—who are not in the music industry—who should’ve but didn’t and who did but wasn’t supposed to win an award, most people would skip their answer and start talking about the red carpet fashion. Fashion Reverie as usually has an opinion on which of the stars looked their best. Here are Fashion Reverie’s seven favorites.

Jennifer Lopez rocked in Reem Acra, blush dress! Just when we think Lopez can’t look any better, she shows up flashing her killer six-pack abs. Singer is known for her cut out metallic choices and each time she manages to achieve a unique look and steal all the attention. On stage, she performed her hit single “Booty” with Iggy Azalea and again stole the show. The dress fits her perfectly with nothing spilling out, a lesson to be learned by other celebs wanting to wear this type of look. As for Fashion Reverie, we will have what Lopez is having!!

Jhene Aiko is a first time nominee at the AMAs. This young American singer/songwriter has now been noticed for her unique sense of style. She glowed in a copper dress by Alice + Olivia. This dress earns Jhene Aiko a spot on Fashion Reverie’s “to watch list.“

Kate Beckinsale and Kaufmanfranco are a match! When it comes to red-carpet style most Hollywood stars always bring their A game. Kate did that in a form of a white, deep V-neck dress. Her look is simple, polished, accessorized with a serpent necklace and a simple clutch.

Kendall Jenner is unstoppable!! The latest face of Estee Lauder wore Yigal Azrouel. Even though the dress is completely sheer, Kendall still looks appropriate. This is a dress you can wear only if you are a supermodel, have a firm 19-year-old body or you are J.Lo.

We love “normal” Nicki Minaj! We are used to Nicki Minaj getting our attention with her avant-garde outfits that sometimes hide her beauty. The mock-neck dress with pleated drape by Alexander Wang shows her curves and makes her stand out as one of the few celebs on the red carpet in a pretty short dress.

Rita Ora always has fun with fashion. Unpredictable and daring, this talented young singer is not afraid of color, Ora makes a statement in Zac Posen’s canary yellow gown on the AMA’s red carpet.

Fergie showed up in a Halston Heritage gown with a high slit. Fergie’s stage performance rocked. Fashion Reverie was really stoked by her performance and loves her more “grown up” look, paired with gladiator style sandals. Fashion Reverie says, “way to go, Fergie!”
