Award season is also in ample opportunity for emerging designers to get some media attention and some gain more traction in the fashion industry.

2016 already promises to be a groundbreaking and interesting year for the new and innovative. There is a lot of change afoot in the fashion industry and the red carpet is already reflecting these shifting tides. As always, Fashion Reverie is there to report on these changing and evolving trends. Stay tuned!!

The US is in a presidential election year and that reality is starting to reflect in some fashion choices. We all love Katy Perry in Moschino, but will we like her fashion choice of an Alice+Olivia sweatshirt with ‘Hillary Clinton for President’ iconography? Hmm, the verdict is still out!!

We wore it best Kendall Jenner or Carmen Electra? Who ever you might personally prefer, they both look stunning in a Guess faux fur and Marciano leather leggings.

Maria Lucia Hohan is getting a lot exposure on the red carpet. And Hayden Panettiere is helping to give this excellent designer the type of media coverage she deserves. Hayden looks sophisticated and saucy in a Maria Lucia Hohan gown at the 21st annual Critics’ Choice Awards.

Though “The Dark Knight Rises” Juno Temple’s look at the New York premiere of “Vinyl” at the Ziegfeld Theatre is over the top, it is eye catching. And the combination of a silver metallic gown, diamond tiara and Lydia Courtielle diamond ring all go together in kind of circus-like way, but is enjoyable all the same.

“Pretty Little Liars’” Lucy Hale wore Elisabetta Franchi white and black pinstripe pants from Franchi’s spring 2016 collection with RVN top while hosting the Blowpro launch at Lord & Taylor in New York City, New York.
