Polish options seem to get more and more advanced as beauty takes on the 21st century. The latest nail phenomenon is created by China Glaze and features color-changing polish.
Titled the Tranzitions collection, six different color-changing shades that deepen and change shades after applying a clear top coat to the polish. This innovative design gives an endless amount of possibilities using fading and blending.
The 12 different shades featured include: Split Person-NAIL-ity Dusty pink shifts to fuchsia, Duplicity Mint green shifts to vibrant teal, Modify Me Periwinkle blue shifts to indigo blue, Altered Reality Teal blue shifts to turquoise, Metallic Metamorphosis Silvery grey shifts to bluish-charcoal grey and Shape Shifter Smokey violet shifts to dark purple.
Inauguration Dress Collection
Following the fashion of the political season, White House | Black Market has created an exclusive line of glamorous gowns inspired by the Presidential inauguration.

All designed with the fashion-forward First Lady in mind, the limited-edition collection features nine looks.
Retail for many of the designs range from $250 to $300 and are sold exclusively online along with other four White House | Black Market boutiques including The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, Tyson’s Corner, Wisconsin Place, and Westfield Montgomery.

Gap Inc. Revamps Image
With the acquisition of the Intermix specialty chain, Gap Inc. is well on its way to rebrand its image as a retail conglomerate that also includes luxury clothes. As word leaked out a few weeks ago about the acquisition, fashion insiders pondered how the seemingly disparate companies could be congenial brand-mates.
With the acquisition of Intermix for a reported $130 million in cash, brand compatibility does not seem to be a concern for the retail giant. As reported WWD, senior team of co-founder and CEO Khajak Keledjian and president Adrienne Lazarus will stay on to run the business from New York.

T’s New Staff
Someone’s loss is someone else’s gain. In November, Kate Lanphear left her position at Elle as style director after five years. Where she would end up next was still undecided.
Fashion journalist, Jim Shi, had tweeted that, “Kate Lanphear has joined T: The New York Times Style Magazine as style director. She’ll be at the upcoming women’s shows with Team T.”
Later that day T magazine retweeted Jim Shi’s tweet, confirming the rumors and speculation about where Lanphear has decided to continue her expertise in street style.
