2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards Red Carpet

The MTV Movie and TV Awards are officially completed. Night one was hosted by Leslie Jones while the unscripted ceremony was hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser. One the important moments of the show was “WandaVision” winning a few Golden Popcorns and the Best Show award.  

During the ceremony for the unscripted television night, the cast of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” received the Best Docu-Reality Show award, as well as the inaugural Reality Royalty lifetime achievement award. Snooki thanked MTV for acknowledging the cast’s “hot mess bs” throughout the years. Fashion was interesting to say the least, so, here are some of the looks Fashion Reverie wanted to highlight. 

 Riley Keough 

Was this a memorable look? Absolutely, however, very far from the best dressed look of the evening. This sequined mistake, an emerald green cropped jacket, a purple cropped tank top and striped pink and green pants were a crime committed by Gucci. Her hair was done well, despite the outfit. 

Madison Bailey

Madison arrived in a Versace look straight from the runway; however, it looks like a costume for a theme party. It didn’t translate that well on the red carpet, despite looking great at the Versace runway show. There were conflicting multi-colored patterns and micro top half. Still, the pink sandals were cute!

Jurnee Smollett

 Jurnee Smollett’s teal Alexandre Vauthier jumpsuit with cut-outs on both sides of the waist was a bingo and one of the best looks of the two-days award ceremony. Fashion Reverie loved the matching lace boots. 

Nikki Bella and Brie Bella 

The Bella twins were twinning and wore identical dresses by Maria Lucia Hohan, but in different colors. Nikki opted for a bronze and black design with a black corset bodice and semi-sheer skirt. Brie went with a black corset bodice and hot pink skirt.

Erika Jayne

Despite all the negative press around Erika Jayne while we are waiting to see what happens in the latest season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Erika Jayne’s MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted look drew attention, as usual.  The latex blue minidress paired with a floor-length coat by Venus Prototype with blue heels in a different shade is one of the best looks of the evening. You go, girl!!

Becky Robinson

Did Becky Robinson grab your attention? Yes, she did. For best dressed, ugh no. Jacket by Robinson’s choice of Gucci paired with fringed Amazon Fashion boots created another mess of a look. Did Becky get a memo to show up in weirdest looks possible?

Mandy Moore

This bright yellow dress by Altuzarra is a very nice look for Mandy Moore. The bold yellow is an ideal way go to celebrate at this type of awards show. Mandy Moore look flawless in this garment, signifying that she is ready for spring. 

Leslie Jones

Leslie Jones is no stranger to the challenges and troubles picking out the right outfit. Something a lot of us can relate to. However, with this Bishme Cromartie rose-colored gown, Leslie Jones looks good and oh so happy!! She could have used some spanks, maybe.
