The Grammy Awards red carpet is usually the most dramatic red carpet of awards season. When it comes to the Grammy Awards what we expect is great performances and lots of artistic expressions. This year’s awards show, hosted by Trevor Noah went smoothly—well Kanye was not invited—and we got to enjoy lots of great PINK looks by our favorite celebrities. So here are some of Fashion Reverie’s favorites:

Billy Porter
With this Grammy Award red carpet, we realized that Fashion Reverie has not had Billy Porter on our best-dressed list for a while. How is that possible? I guess he hasn’t attended many red carpets this season so far, because Billy ALWAYS makes the best dressed list. Even though we have seen this look, Billy Porter knows how to make a fuchsia Valentino stand out even more. The train, Jimmy Choo shoes paired with clutch, hair pulled back and a dark lipstick all came together on this red carpet. Billy did it again!!

Saweetie
Has anyone noticed how on-trend opera gloves are these days? Opera gloves worn with a bra and a choker, a long skirt, unbelievable. To see it is to believe how this ensemble is another Valentino sheer perfection. Halfway down the carpet Saweetie changed into a black dress.

Tinashe
Tinashe donned another shade of pink, light pink with a tight bodice, mermaid-shaped with a big bow tie in the back. This looked like a regular glamour frock, until you notice that the GCDS gown was made of latex. The GCDS gown is paired with a glass-looking red purse.

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian
Well, Kourtney and Travis are the couple of this year, and they keep forging forward, especially, when it comes to couples’ fashion. Kourtney wore sheer opera gloves, Et Ochs black cut out jumpsuit. (Now, let’s pretend we do not see that little bump.)
Travis Barker wore a Givenchy satin fuchsia jacket. Both Kourtney and Travis completed their red-carpet looks in black shades.

Bomba Estereo
Bomb Estereo wore colorful masks, and the lady of the trio wore a big, fuchsia cover full of big ruffles. Her purse matched her mask, and this smart lady was comfy in yellow sneakers.

St. Vincent
St. Vincent added to this year’s Grammys fascination with pink ruffles. She wore a Gucci spring 2022 pink metallic dress with large ruffles on the hem and sleeves. This is old school Hollywood glamour, and St. Vincent pulled it off perfectly.

Lil Nas X
Though Lil Nas X did pay the pink memo any mind, Fashion Reverie could not leave him off of our Grammys 2022 red-carpet list. Lil Nas X brought the house down in an embroidered Balmain white suit encrusted with shiny pearls and silver sequins. The cropped jacket also featured butterfly details on the chest and arms. Lil Nas X finished off this look with clunky platform boots.

Trevor Noah
Obviously, the host got the pink memo. Trevor wore a classic black-tie look. However, his double-breasted Gucci dinner jacket was pale pink. He was indeed on trend.
