Before we all get too busy with the holidays, let’s enjoy another awards show with our favorite celebrities. It has been a great year when it comes to red carpets and these awards shows and the 2022 People Choice Awards with its purple carpet is the cherry on top! Held in Barker Hangar in Santa Monica most fashionable stars came out to play. Here are some of our favorite looks!!
Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood sparkled in a sparkly suit by Any Old Iron. This is a really cool and comfortable look. Perfect for this time of the year and definitely a statement. Carrie looks very confident. Much bigger compliment than if her makeup was perfect, even though it was for this look.
Laverne Cox
Laverne Cox wore a Collina Strada gown. What is so great about this flattering gown is the color and the print. Totally unexpected for a ball gown-like shaped skirt. Everything else was minimal except for the statement necklace. Fashion Reverie feels that opera gloves would add to this look much more.
Lizzo
Lizzo is always having fun with her looks. Lizzo always opts for unique red-carpet looks. This time it is an off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown. Fashion Reverie loves these colors and the print. It is also very flattering for her figure. And don’t think we did not see those great matching booties.
Ellen Pompeo
Ellen Pompeo wore a metallic, multicolored jumpsuit with cutouts. It was a happy sort of look and a great fit for her. Jumpsuits are always a great idea, but only if you find one that makes a fashion statement like Ellen Pompeo made.
Erin Lim
“E!” tv host looked very chic in a crop top gown with suspenders. We have seen similar looks before, but she just looks flawless in Jacquemus. Fashion Reverie loves her gold purse and natural make up!
Nahuane Drumond
Embrace those curves girl! Nahuane opted for a figure-hugging dress by the Syndical Chamber. I guess we are noticing a necklace trend happening here and we love her statement choker paired with shoes.
