You know we are deep into award season when broadcast networks telecast the People Choice Awards. The People Choice Awards usually indicate that the big award show of the season, the Academy Awards, are just a few weeks away.
Fashion Reverie attempts to keep our viewers front and center during awards season. These are some of our favorite picks from the 2024 People Choice Awards.
Halle Bailey
This ‘Little Mermaid’ looked stunning in a Roberto Cavalli fall 2003 multicolored gown. Not to be petty, but does this gown conjure up images of Jennifer Lopez in that iconic green Versace gown? Hmm, something to consider.
Heidi Klum
Sometimes, you are in, sometimes you are out, or so Heidi Klum claims. At this People’s Choice Awards, Heidi Klum was definitely in.
Heidi made a dramatic statement in Kamilla Purshie and Gianvito Rossi shoes. The train on the Purshie cocktail dress signified that the queen has arrived.
Rachel Zegler
“Westside Story’s” Rachel Zegler proved you don’t have to be statuesque to look good on the red carpet. Zegler gave an air of sophistication and classic elegance in black Dior gown with black mesh top and tiered black fringe skirt.
Carmen Electra
Fashion Reverie has not featured Carmen Electra in our red-carpet roundups in a while. That said, Carmen looks sexy in a German Azzurro with low decolletage with Studiocult jewelry.
Laverne Cox
Laverne Cox always makes a statement on red carpets. This appearance was no exception. Cox gave an exceptional performance on the 2024 People’s Choice red carpet in an archival Thierry Mugler bustier from 1987 paired with a Giuseppe Di Morabito skirt.
Natasha Bedingfield
This British singer/songwriter always brings her edgy style to the red carpet. At the 2024 People’s Choice Awards Bedingfield was her typical avant-garde self in a carnation jumpsuit with padded shoulders.
Lenny Kravitz
We never leave the men out at Fashion Reverie. And when it comes to men on the red carpet, Lenny Kravitz is a favorite we always love going back to.
Lenny was sexy and all that a in custom Laquan Smith double-breasted jacket with leather pants and tinted Ray Ban sunglasses. You go Lenny, you sexy devil!!
Alexandra Shipp
Last, but not least “Barbie’s” Alexandra Shipp demonstrated that she is all grown up now in a white Monet gown.
