In a world gone collaboration crazy, it’s hard to not get caught up in the excitement. Altuzarra is teaming up with Target, Alexander Wang is presenting a collection for H&M, and Jason Wu is sharing his designs with Lancome. Yes, we love when high-end designers find ways to infiltrate the stores and brands we already love. So while not a new concept, Fashion Reverie is pleased to share that the 3.1 Phillip Lim for NARS Nail collection is finally here!

NARS has had a longstanding relationship with Lim, working together for the past 14 seasons of New York Fashion Week. By combining Phillip’s effortless design aesthetic with NARS commitment to high quality, the brands have created a set of nine limited edition nail polishes. This collection inspired by the “colors that exist in the shadows” features rich hues, perfect for fall.
Lim gave us a sneak peek in February at New York Fashion Week, accessorizing all his models with Crossroads, a deep violet to complement his ‘rock the casbah’ theme and angled brows. They have finally released the rest of the collection which includes Anarchy (a creamy alabaster), Dark Room (a deep sophisticated blue and a perfect to up your nail game and extend Fashion Reverie’s favorite summer polish colors into fall), Gold Viper—you guessed it, it’s gold alright, but more of a light platinum shade than a harsh yellowy gold—, Hell-Bent (an orange red), Insidious (a rich jewel toned black bronze), Other Side (a nice chocolate shade), Shutter (a beautiful deep green), and Wrong Turn (a metallic graphite).

The colors coincidentally just so happen to go really well with Lim’s purses. So add a little Lim to your life with a wonderful fall manicure and if you feel so inclined, check out 3.1 Phillip Lim for a purse to complement that new manicure.
