What is New York Fashion Week missing? Dsquared2. Well, that all could change in February 2015. Dean and Dan Caten, the design brains behind Dsquared2 recently intimated that they might show in their fall 2015 collection in New York City.
“We thought it was an interesting idea to really promote the brand,” explained Dean Caten in a fashionweekdaily.com. “We’ll have three American stores by then [they just opened a boutique in Beverly Hills], so we’re entertaining the idea. If we get a good date, get a good space and everything falls into place, I’d love to show there. If it doesn’t fall into place, that means it shouldn’t happen right now. Maybe later. February is around the corner…”
Dean Caten also revealed that if they show in NYC they forgo showing their men’s collection in Milan in January, and their showing in NYC will include both men’s and women’s collections. We should only be so lucky!!
