Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of August 14, 2025

In this week’s celebrity fashion sightings, Fashion Reverie takes our viewers to the red carpets of the Television Academy’s 27th annual Hall of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles, the HBO Max Nominee Celebration event in Los Angeles to Lake Como and the UK screening of “Caught Stealing” in London. As with all of our celebrity fashion sightings, Fashion Reverie aims to highlight the most innovative and fashion-forward garments of the season.

Parker Posey

If you are as much of a fan of Parker Posey, the movie queen of the beautifully unusual, as Fashion Reverie is, you will love her in this vintage Christian Dior gown with gold chain belts and matching square peep-toe heels at the HBO Max Nominee Celebration event in Los Angeles.

Viola Davis

The color orange does not look good on everyone. However, orange sure looks good on Viola Davis in this orange Ralph Lauren gown with a twisted waist detail and an embellished clutch bag at Television Academy’s 27th annual Hall of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles.

Zoe Kravitz

Zoe Kravitz is always a stunner on the red carpet. She is particularly stunning in this black satin halter-neck dress by Saint Laurent at the UK screening of “Caught Stealing” in London.

Lupita Nyong’o

Lupita Nyong’o’s out at the Shakespeare in the Park’s “Twelfth Night” event is rather Shakespearean, bold, dramatic and attention getting. Lupita grabbed Fashion Reverie’s attention in a shimmering black tweed and white silk mini dress by Chanel with platform heels.

Lori Harvey is living her best life. Lori stuns in a striking Bottega Veneta spring 2023 fringed gown that takes your breath away. Fashion Reverie gives this model/entrepreneur the thumbs up.

Helen Mirren

Helen Mirren is a vision of floral beauty in this sequined floral wonder from Alice + Olivia at the London premiere of “The Thursday Murder Club.” Now that is how you wear a floral dress!!

Dakota Johnson

Dakota Johnson in this Gucci metallic sheath dress makes a bold statement at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Splitsville.”  Though she looks a bit like a Hershey’s kiss, the bold statement works.

Austin Butler

Fashion Reverie never leaves the men out. Austin Butler demonstrated that he is ‘the man’ in a Givenchy leather suit.

Dilraba

Bringing up the rear this week and making the boldest statement of the evening, Dilraba slayed on the red carpet at W China annual gala in a Robert Wun architectural liquid gold gown from his 2025 fall couture collection.
