OK, Fashion Reverie readers, 2016 is officially here and we are solidly into awards season. Already, several awards ceremonies have taken place from the 2016 People Choice Awards to the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala. And celebs are flaunting fabulous fashion from established and emerging designers. Flaunting fabulous fashion, now that is a tongue twister!!

Cate Blanchett is on everyone’s lips with her star turn in “Carol.” Blanchett is already nominated for a Screen Actor’s Guild Award, Independent Spirit Award, and a Golden Globe Award. At the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala, Blanchett shined in a lavender and gold Marc Jacobs’s gown accessorized with a Tiffany & Co. giraffe bracelet in gold, diamond, and emerald while being awarded the Desert Palm Achievement Award.
There were lots of celebs on the red carpet of The Art of Elysium 2016 HEAVEN Gala presented by Vivienne Westwood & Andreas Kronthaler at 3LABS in Los Angeles. Fashion Reverie out picked three particular stunners.

Now, who says you cannot look fashionable and fabulous with a baby bump? “Shameless’” Shanola Hampton proves all the naysayers wrong by stunning in a Cristiano Burani gown and Bavna emerald earrings and bracelet. “Young & Hungry’s” Ashley Tisdale didn’t leave much to the imagination in this revealing Davidson Zanine beaded and sequined gown. And “House’s” Odette Annable wore a Maria Lucia Hohan gown. Now, Maria Lucia Hohan really knows how to show off a woman’s curves, and Odette has the right curves to show off Maria Lucia Hohan’s gowns.

Talk about ‘It Girls;’ and no model is more of an ‘It’ model than supermodel Chanel Iman. Chanel stuns in this white lace skirt with matching crop top perfectly accessorized with Jeweler pearl earrings at the W Magazine’s It Girl Luncheon in partnership with Coach and Moet & Chandon at A.O.C. in Los Angeles.

Talk about a blast from the past!! If you are old enough, you probably remember Lori Loughlin from “Full House.” But, her career didn’t stop with “Full House,” Loughlin has kept herself busy with some Hallmark movies, directing, and a new Netflix series. At 51, Loughlin still has it going on and she looks great in Davidson Zanine’s black jumpsuit with Bavna earrings and two bracelets at the Hallmark Channel/Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Party during the Winter 2016 TCA press tour held at Tournament House in Los Angeles.

Fashion Reverie leaves no age demographic out. “Dance Moms” teen sensation Maddie Ziegler carries a purple cloud Benedetta Bruzziches clutch and looks cute in a Michael Costello white cocktail dress while attending the People’s Choice Awards.

Who wore it best? Fashion Reverie contends that “Pretty Little Liars’” Troian Bellisario wore a Caterina Gatta dress and carried a Benedetta Bruzziches clutch while attending the The People’s Choice Award better than the model. What do you think?

Marcia Gay Harden has it all, well almost. An Oscar, a Tony, and a great look on the red carpet. Marcia Gay Harden knocks them dead in a green velvet gown with revealing neckline and BVLGARI accessories; earrings in white gold with pear shaped emeralds; DIVA ring in white gold and diamonds, and BVLGARI cocktail clutch in black shiny lizard with brass rutheniu, ultra black plated hardware.

The ratings are stellar on Eva Longoria’s new sitcom, “Telenovela.” But how can anything go wrong with Eva at the helm. Eva looks particular smashing in a Porsche Design shift dress for her appearance o “EXTRA.” And she looked lush and warm wearing a Porsche Design coat leaving the “Today Show.”

Though this red carpet appearance was on December 27, we just couldn’t leave out “Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Daisy Ridley on the red carpet with a Moncler Gamme Rouge coat over her fabulous purple petal gown at the premier of her “Star Wars” film in Shanghai.
May the Force be with Fashion Reverie in 2016!!
