Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of January 7, 2018

This is week’s Celebrity Fashion Sightings includes the NAACP 2018 Image Awards, the 2018 Critics Choice Awards, and a few special celeb sightings. Unlike the 2018 Golden Globes there was lots of color on the red carpet. Since the all-black focus of the 2018 Golden Globes was for a good cause and a political statement, Fashion Reverie supports and accepts the lack of color. Plus, there was a lot of style at the Golden Globes in spite of the lack of color. Still, we are a part of the rainbow tribe and love a kaleidoscope of color.

Mary J. Blige continues to shine and sparkle on the red carpet. Her blonde coif fits perfectly with her gold sequined Vivienne Westwood Couture gown, beautifully accessorized with Maxior diamond earrings and a L’Dezen by Payal Shah diamond ring at the 23^rd Annual Critics Choice Awards. By the way, Mary was also celebrating her birthday!!

Who says plus size/curvy girls can’t look great on the red carpet? Chrissy Metz looked fashionable and stylish at the 23^rd Annual Critics Choice Awards in an Eloqui multi-colored gown. Take about gown of many colors!! Add to this cornucopia of color Anabela Chan lab grown quartz amethyst papillon earrings and a Spallanzani pink sapphire ring.

“Sneaky Pete’s” Marin Ireland continued the wearing of black, seen a week earlier at the 2018 Golden Globes. Marin is sexy in her form-fitting black dress with high slit, set off by a Le Vian diamond ring.

“The Handmaid’s Tale” Samira Wiley demonstrates that is it all about her in a canary yellow strapless marigold yellow Romona Keveza spring 2017 gown at the 2018 NAACP Image Awards. Susan embellishes her stunning look with IVY New York tourmaline earrings, Le Vian tourmaline ring, and Mattia Cielo diamond bracelet. Love the tightly cropped coif!! You are giving us Josephine Baker!!

“Dear White People’s” Logan Browning looks regal and sophisticated in a Maria Lucia Hohan white lace dress at the 2018 NAACP Image Awards.

Though Halle Berry is in her fifth decade, she continues to excite pulses on the red carpet. Halle demonstrated at the 2018 NAACP Image Awards that she is still fit and fabulous in a Reem Acra gown, nicely accessorized in a Joelle black diamond horn earring, Harry Kotlar black diamond stud earrings, and Anil Arjandas black diamond stackable rings and snake ring.

“The Real’s” Jeannie Mai gives a nod to how chic one can look in a sophisticated suit. At the 2018 NAACP Image Awards Jeannie donned a black Styland suit, AS29 diamond necklace, and Neil J. Rodgers ‘Sofia’ shoes.

Though the Giambattista Valli white ruffled dress with red polka dot dress was a bit too frilly for the 23^rd Annual Critics Choice Awards host Olivia Munn, she still looked beautiful, accessorized with Djula diamond rings.

Speaking of white lacy dresses, “DC Extended Universe’s” Kiersey Clemons looks youthful and chic in a Giamba dress with Butani earrings at the 2018 Marie Claire Image Maker Awards.

What would our weekly celebrity fashion sightings be without Jennifer Lopez? In this recent Instagram post, it is all about the accessories; especially the $1,340 pair of Gucci socks that J-Lo donned for this shoot. Though we love the white sweater and white tulle skirt, Fashion Reverie is absolutely mad about the Djula diamond ring and a Hearts on Fire diamond bracelet. You work that editorial post, J-Lo!!
