Our Celebrity Fashion Sightings are back after being on hiatus since the 2019 Academy Awards. This week’s Celebrity Fashion Sightings is mostly looks from the 2019 NAACP Image Awards; however, Fashion Reverie through some Celebrity Sightings from a few other red carpets.
We admire “Blackish’s” Tracey Ross’ aura of freedom and risk taking; however, the Marc Jacobs’ black and white voluminous dress conjured up images of “Sesame Street’s” Big Bird. And the top knot coif didn’t help Tracey either. Better luck next NAACP Image Awards!!
“Westworld’s” Thandie Newton looked so regal and refined at the NAACP Image Awards. a red Valentino ruffled dress.
There were a lot of actresses wearing Georges Chakra at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards. And “If Beale Street Could Talk’s” Kiki Layne looked glorious in a pale blue Grecian Georges Chakra gown.
“Black Panther’s” Lupita N’yongo looked great in the Giambattista Valli that she donned for the 2019 NAACP Image Awards, and showing a little leg didn’t hurt, either. That said; the color puce is not her color!!
“Blackish’s” Yara Shahidi give Cardie B a run for her money when it comes to avant-garde red-carpet couture. Yara shined and beamed in a Balmain black and white cocktail dress with oversized white, ruffled embellishment. You work, girl!!
“A Wrinkle in Time’s” Storm Reid looked ethereal in a diaphanous Georges Chakra dress at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards.
Moving away from the 2019 NAACP Image Awards, Bollywood Actress Athiya Shetty looks divine a one-shoulder Bibhu Mohapatra fall 2019 gown at the 2019 Filmfare Awards.
Issa Rae looked classic and sophisticated at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards in a marigold yellow Oscar de la Renta Gown.
“Black Panther’s” Leticia Wright really stole the show at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards in a sheer black Georges Chakra cocktail dress.
Talk about a blast from the past!! For those who don’t know who MC Lyte is, she was one of the first music chart breaking female rappers. And she looks so good in this black pinstriped sequined pantsuit ensemble.
Fashion Reverie cannot need leave the men out in our Celebrity Fashion Sightings this week. “Black Panther’s” Michael B. Jordan really turned it out on the red carpet on trend in head-to-toe, well almost minus the shoes and jewelry, in a beige Burberry ensemble.
