Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of May 23, 2016

Though it has really warmed up on the East Coast and it’s a holiday weekend—temperatures averaging in the low-80s—that doesn’t keep Fashion Reverie from bringing its readers the latest coverage from what our favorite celebs are wearing on the street and on red carpets.

We start our celebrity coverage with the ultimate maven of style, our First Lady (FLOTUS) Michelle Obama.  While hosting the White House Turnaround Arts Talent Show in the East Room at the White House, FLOTUS wears alice + olivia’s Eartha Flare mid-length skirt paired with the Gracelyn ribbed off-the-shoulder cropped top in black.

As the female warrior Garona in the soon-to-be-released “Warcraft,” Paula Patton had to be in great shape. It looks like she has maintained her fitness, as made evident in this blush Maria Lucia Hohan spring ’16 ‘AVENY’ dress to a special screening of “Warcraft: The Beginning” at BFI IMAX in London. Look at Patton’s upper body development. Wow!!

Whether she is on a red carpet or just donning laidback street wear, Rihanna always looks well put together. On this particular evening, Rihanna choose PORTS 1961 women’s wear signature Bee Sneakers.

Victoria Secret’s Alessandra Ambrosio looks cool and collected in this strapless, sequined black, white, gold and red cocktail dress with flare skirt at the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” world premiere at Madison Square Garden. She is accessorized beautifully with these diamond earrings from Le Vian.

Kim, Kim, Kim, what can we say? Most of the time you hit the ball out of the court when it comes to fashion and style. But this lacey patchwork dress from Ermanno Scervino’s spring collection is not your best look!! The occasion was Scott Disick’s birthday party, so after drinks and food, maybe most of the guest didn’t notice!!

Janelle Monae’s fashion keeps getting better and better!! And she proves it at the 2016 Gordon Parks Awards in NYC, wearing a black cape with fringe skirt. And earrings from Le Vian and wrist cuff from Bavna really help complete the look.
