The World Cup 2014 is under way and the soccer fever has taken over the world. From previous World Cups, we’ve learned a lot about Brazil, who by the way has won FIFA five times and is the only team that has played in every tournament. And though J Lo, Pit Bull and Claudia Leitte can still perform and party to their song “We Are One” (OLE, OLA) it is still questionable if soccer fans who not are not fans of Brazil love hearing the song.
The question of the moment is what to do when you don’t like soccer but the rest of your friends are planning all of your social gatherings around it?
Fashion Reverie has some advice, “Don’t hate the game; love the players!”
Now fashionistas, there is always something we can relate to and we are lucky that the World Cup is filled with beautiful, muscular bodies and hot accents. These guys’ bodies are made for boxer briefs and designer clothing—David Beckham proved it—Fashion Reverie decided to pick just a few that look even better out of their uniforms.

Cristiano Ronaldo
Tall, handsome and highest paid! Currently making 23 million euros per year, this young sport celebrity is often accused of being a little self-centered. I guess we would have to ask Maria Sharapova, Kim Kardashian or his current romantic interest, Russian supermodel Irina Shayk. Cristiano Ronaldo’s good looks were recently displayed in his latest cover for Vogue Spain! Mind you, he still doesn’t have a ring on!!!

Claudio Marchisio
Unfortunately, for single gals this hot guy is married to wife Roberta Sinopoli but that doesn’t mean we can’t droll over his Dolce & Gabbana ad. With his dreamy eyes and Italian sense of fashion. Il Principino (The Little Prince) has impeccable sense of style and a full closet of accessories, we would assume.

Mario Balotelli
Born in Palermo, Sicily to Ghanaian parents Super Mario was a fragile kid with health problems and was later placed with foster family Balotelli. They officially adopted him and look at him now. Known for wearing bold and vibrant colors, this 23-year old has developed his individual style. He is known for oddly tailored clothing as well. Definitely unique and attention grabbing!

Keisuke Honda
Keisuke Honda is one of Japan’s biggest sports fashion icons and The New York Times put him on “The Ones to Watch at the World Cup” list. This blond-dyed fashionisto in the works is known for his great style and is often snapped wearing two watches.

Neymar da Silva Santos Jr.
FIFA hosting country’s native, Neymar has been called a “true phenomenon.” He is a forward, winger or an attacking midfielder and knows how to wear designer clothing really well. With two Vogue covers behind him (Vogue Brazil and L’Uomo Vogue) he is on his way. Some like his style; while others feel his style need more development. Fashion Reverie thinks he is a young superstar with an awesome hair cut and great fashion potential!
