According to Andre Leon Talley we have a “First Family of Fashion.” Kim, Kanye, and baby North may be Talley’s choice, but others beg to differ. At times the dynamic trio has great style sense—which is probably why Talley nominated them— but they are not the only couple that knows how to assemble great looks.
While everyone was rolling eyes on Kanye’s chest exposure at the Lanvin show, Vogue’s former editor-at-large loved it and called it Kanye’s best look. Really? When it comes to Kim’s best looks, Fashion Reverie agrees with Andre. Kim in Givenchy’s lace jumpsuit did seem like “the new sexy.”
But, no matter how adorable baby North is, the title is a bit much. Fashion Reverie thinks that there are few other famous families that were fashionable and setting trends before the Kimye phenomenon.

The Beckhams
Victoria Caroline Beckham, a former model and well-respected fashion designer along with her husband David and their four children are true standouts when it comes to individual style. We do have to mention that David is a face of many brands and was hailed as the ultimate “metrosexual” by the man who invented the term, Mark Simpson. When they are all together they look flawless and seem to be successful at anything they do. With success, financial security and a great sense of style this power couple didn’t make Andre Leon Tally’s list. Hmm, I wonder why? Apparently not good enough for Andre!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
They keep under the radar but when they do make an appearance they get lots of positive feedback from fashion critics, even when they wear matching outfits—Angelina and Brad in tuxedos. It is a wonder they can pull off great style choices with six kids in tote. And their children are kid trendsetters. Madoxx has distinguished himself with his unique special haircut since he was a baby.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale
There is No Doubt this is a very stylish family with a lot of sass and sizzle. Gwen has a great eye for style. She has been running a successful fashion brand for over ten years and the couple has three beautiful boys together. They all look pretty dapper when they are together and there seems to be no need for low décolletage when it comes to Gavin Rossdale.

The Obamas
Fashion Education Workshop at The White House, who says politics and fashion can’t mix? Hmm, that’s a hard call, but it is a great platform to support some of the most successful young designers in this country. First Lady Michelle Obama is a cultural and style icon, even making the cover of Vogue. Daughters Malia and Sasha Obama are always appropriately and stylishly dressed and Barack Obama even tries to experiment with different color-patterned suits. Criticized for his beige summer suit, President Obama was not sidetracked and continues alongside his wife to a supporter of the arts and the fashion industry.
