CFDA Awards 2023 Best Red-Carpet Looks

We all love red carpet fashion. From the Met Gala to the hallowed awards shows—Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Grammy Awards, and Tony Awards—red carpet fashion gives a hint at the upcoming fashion trends, but also demonstrates celebrities at their best.

The CFDA Awards in one of those awards shows that shows celebrities at their best and displays the fashion risk that some celebrities will take where they are slaughtered by the press. This year’s CFDA Awards were no exception. Though heavy on neutral tones, black and white to be exact, there was a lot of fashion-forward design aesthetic to embrace.

Serena Williams

Let’s start off the black and white fashion cavalcade with the one and only Serena Williams. Williams brought the va va voom and then some in a Thom Browne sequined black gown with statement sleeves.

Anne Hathaway

In a more casual, dressed-down look, Anne Hathaway demonstrated that she still has it in a denim Ralph Lauren look right off the runway from his spring 2024 collection.

Teyana Taylor

Teyana Taylor is becoming quite the actress. If you haven’t seen her in “One Thousand and One” and the remake of “White Men Can’t Jump,” you should.

Taylor shine and makes a statement in Christopher John Rogers black vinyl ensemble. Taylor is so sexy; she could make a garbage bag look good. And she does just that in black ensemble.

Demi Moore

Demi Moore proves that she still has it in her 60s. And she proves that in strapless silver sequined Carolina Herrera gown.

Emma Chamberlain

American media personality Emma Chamberlain looked chic and fashion forward in a black Thom Browne ensemble. Can anyone say restrained vixen?

Mary J. Blige

Christian Siriano has made strides in the fashion industry for dressing curvy celebs. He can now add Mary J. Blige to the list. Blige made a statement of the runway in a diaphanous sequined black and silver embellished with black bodysuit underneath. Hmm, not Blige’s best red-carpet look.

Kim Kardashian

What would any CFDA Awards red carpet be without Kim K. Kim Kardashian graced the red carpet in a black, form-fitting embossed Chrome Heart gown.

Lil Yachty

At Fashion Reverie we do not leave out the men. Rapper/songwriter Lil Yachty looked chic and sophisticated in a Thom Browne suit with kilt. That’s right my man, push the proverbial fashion envelope!!

Rauw Alejandro

Actor/singer Rauw Alejandro demonstrated that he is not afraid to take risks in a Willy Chavarria red suit with statement silk black floral embellishment and black silk blouse. Talk about expanding masculine sexiness, man you got it!!

Pat Cleveland

Fashion icon and supermodel Pat Cleveland always makes a statement on the red carpet. And she did it once again in a Christopher John Rogers black and white patterned gown.

Hiandra Martinez

Top model Hiandra Martinez stuns in a Luar black gown with statement handbag. Now that’s a statement!!

Amelia Gray Hamlin

Bringing up the rear, top model Amelia Gray Hamlin is not afraid to show you she’s working with in see-through pale blue Alaia gown with statement pale blue fur embellishments on the sleeve. Work it, my darling!!
