OK, the cold weather is almost over and in a short amount of time the coats will come off and it will time to put on the short sleeves, well everything. Hopefully, you’ve spent some quality in the gym. But even if you didn’t, nothing looks better in mild climates than a polo shirt. And you need rippling muscles or a 12-pack to wear on.

LACOSTE in a collaboration with J. Crew has launched special polo shirts for all ages, in a variety of colors like white, navy, burgundy and orange, retailing from $55-$98.  Jenna Lyons (J.Crew Creative Director and President) and Frank Muytjens (Head of Men’s Design) spearheaded the collab/selection process and have chosen LACOSTE to be part of their “Discovered” seasonal section.  The LACOSTE logo is an exclusive archive version from 1983 and is generally blue with a LACOSTE cursive font within the iconic crocodile.

“Lacoste is an iconic heritage brand with a long company history which we admire. We were honored to collaborate with the LACOSTE team to bring back an archival alligator which will be exclusively for J.Crew,” says Tom Mora, head of women’s design, J. Crew.  “I’ve always loved the rich history of LACOSTE, and I especially love wearing my vintage Lacoste polos, the softer the better.  They let us go through their archives to bring back an old crocodile, which is blue, not green. It’s a nice throwback, ” details Frank Muytjens, head of men’s design J. Crew.

That said; with Rafael Nadal becoming the global ambassador for Hilfiger underwear and Hilfiger classic suits it is time for LACOSTE and J. Crew to get more media play. Remember the French Open will be upon us before you know it. And no brands does the French Open better than LACOSTE. LACOSTE you better represent!!
