Editors’ Pick: Michael Kors x ellesse 2022 Capsule Ski Collection

We are solidly in the holiday season, which means it time to hit the slopes, if that is if skiing and spending time in the ice and snow is your thing. If that is your thing or if you just love ski gear and garments, Michael Kors has some great slopes fashion for the 2022 holiday and resort season.

For this holiday season and into the continued winter season, Michael Kors has collaborated with ellesse in an incredible winter/resort capsule collaboration. The campaign features supermodels Emily Ratajkowski and David Agbodji.

Evoking the bold attitude and confident cool of a day on the slopes, the capsule is emblazoned with a one-of-a-kind insignia that fuses Michael Kors’ iconic logo with ellesse’s tennis-and-ski-inspired one. This is the second sports-centered collaboration for Michael Kors and the Italian sportswear brand.

This second sports-centered collaboration takes a page from vintage ski styles, a style that naturally fits in with Kors’ luxury sportswear DNA and ellesse’s heritage point of view. The two styles meld nicely together, producing a unique insignia that fuses Michael Kors’ iconic logo with ellesse’s sports-inspired branding.

Photographed by Daniel Clavero and styled by Mel Ottenberg, the sporty garments in this collection are ideal for the slopes or just a pleasant trek through a wintry landscape. The capsule collection’s vivid shades of fiery orange and red enliven both apparel and accessories, including reinterpretations of Michael Kors’ must-have Hudson Tote and Slater Sling Pack, as well as the cozy beanies and mittens in the capsule collection.
