Emerson Fall/Winter 2013

Collages179Emerson creative director Jackie-Fraser Brown brought out another round of fashionable, trend-setting looks to the runway this season. Inspired by the fantasy of an enchanting post-apocalyptic world, the 90s‒inspired collection was filled with plaid patterns and silk chiffon prints. There was a lot of leather used for this collection from rebellious bomber jackets, chic vests, and chic accents on striking dresses.

“I feel as though this fall 2013 collection shows the true aesthetic of my brand. I continue to use unique fabrics and cuts that keep my collections exciting and different from other contemporary brands,” says Swan. The unique mixture of punk-rock influences and dark color palette of midnight blue, rouge, and black against the brand’s notable whimsical free-spirit charm gave way to another sophisticated, stylish collection for the modern woman.
