With the end of March on the horizon, international fashion weeks have come to an end. From fall 2019 runway shows in Paris and New York to London, Tokyo, and Milan, Fashion Reverie speculates on what fall 2019 trends will make consumers’ pulses quicken. This season’s runways brought us a taste of everything from minimalism to saying au revoir to Karl Lagerfeld and his final runway collection for Chanel. Between the snowy streets of New York and the somber streets of Paris, the fall 2019 season was certainly an entirely different beast.

Glam Rock
It might not be the ‘70s in Britain anymore, but Glam Rock is back. Brands like Michael Kors, Faith Connexion and Hakan Akkaya brought the elevated rocker style to the runways. Rock on with your glitter and glam style.

Animal Print
From zebra prints to cheetah prints, the runways were animalistic this season. Designers were having a safari of a time with their fall 2019 collections and found in animal print patterns a great way to add some fun to collections that are minimalistic in tone. It’s time to earn your stripes and spots.

Statement Necklines
For fall 2019, you will not need a diamond necklace to draw attention to your neckline. Sometimes, a good structured neckline is all you need. One-shoulder tops aren’t just for summer nights anymore.

Feathers
What was once an accent detail for Vegas showgirls and drag queens has become a gold standard for luxury dressing for fall 2019. Get pretty in plumage this fall and bust out your feathered dress. Marc Jacobs proved it is possible.

Beige
Beige has long been a wardrobe staple, so who would have though the classic color would be runway trend. This season, designers showed how many shades of beige are fashionable and that beige isn’t another boring workwear color. Thank you Fendi and Hugo Boss.

Neon Heels
Neon color been a major trend for the past year, but for fall 2019 neon colors have transitioned from apparel to shoes. The granny church shoes are out the window, and we’re on our way to funky town. Talk about it, talk about it, talk about it!!

Deconstructed Knitwear
Knitwear is always a staple for fall collections; that said, for fall 2019 designers deconstructed knitwear silhouettes and rebuilt the knitwear built to create something original. Knots on knits were big this season thanks to J.W. Anderson doing a cable knit style tie on a jersey dress. This fantastic deconstructed knitwear garment gives consumers a new meaning to wrapping up.
