After a five-year absence, Adriana Lima returns to Maybelline. Lima was global spokesperson for the brand from 2003–2009. Current global spokespeople includes Christy Turlington, Emily DiDonato, Jourdan Dunn, Marloes Horst, and a host of others.
“We are honored to welcome back Adriana to our amazing roster of spokespeople,” declares Jerome Bruhat, Global Brand President of Maybelline New York. “Globally, women admire not only Adriana’s beauty but also her commitment to helping those in need. We are honored to partner with her again. Her passion for life and positive energy is undeniable. She truly is a Maybelline woman.”
“It’s wonderful to be a part of the Maybelline New York brand again,” said Adriana in a fashionmag.com article. “I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl, and I look forward to the work we will do together. The imagery is always beautiful and positive which is what I admire most about the brand. To be a part of that again is a dream come true!”
Adriana Lima has the largest social media community of any fashion model. Her faced has graced the covers of the Italian, Turkish, Spanish and Brazilian editions of Vogue, American and Spanish editions of V Magazine, American, Spanish and Brazilian editions of Harper’s Bazaar, and American Elle among others. Lima’s return to Maybelline will appear in digital and print campaigns this summer.

Divinely Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys has lots of music fans and with her new Givenchy perfume campaign; Keys will acquire scores of new fashion and beauty fans. Givenchy’s Dahlia Divin campaign that features the Grammy-Award winning Alicia Keys will launch globally in September.
“It seems that only one type of beauty is seen as beautiful. I think it’s very important that we stretch that concept and the way that it’s viewed. The biggest mistake is to think that beauty is physical. Beauty is so internal, and it’s about who you are and what you believe in, what you stand for. That’s what makes you beautiful,” Keys told WWD. “I think that’s really important to infuse into the conversation in the beauty world. I would like to see different representations of what beauty is. I’d like to see women with a little more voluptuousness. There’s no way in the world that we’re all a size 2, and people beat themselves up if they’re not small enough or light enough or dark enough or skinny enough.”

Schiffer magic
From Kate Moss to Adriana Lima, it seems that supermodels of the 90s and early 2000s are scoring some of the industry’s most prestigious 2014 and 2015 ad campaigns. Add Claudia Schiffer to the list.
Schiffer appears in Dolce & Gabbana’s winter 2015 ad campaign dressed in ornate D&G dresses as Queen of a mystical forest. The new winter campaign demonstrates that Schiffer still fits in and hasn’t lost her magical touch.
