The jobs keep piling up for top model Kendall Jenner. In addition to her gigs with Estee Lauder, Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, and Givenchy, Kendall adds to her portfolio Calvin Klein Jeans. As the new face of Calvin Klein’s limited edition denim series, #mycalvins, Kendall joins the likes of Kate Moss and Brooke Shields.
#mycalvins will feature his and hers tees, jeans, shorts, headgear, and bags. The denim line will range in price from $58–348 in North America and will launch exclusively in Opening Ceremony stores on April 15.
The campaign was photographed by Alasdair McLellan and also features male supermodel Simon Nessman.
McDonald’s Fashion
If fast food world domination is enough then McDonalds is now looking to expand into fashion. Yes, you heard at Fashion Reverie, believe it or not, fashion?
The Big Mac Shop, the official online store for the mega fast food empire, offers a range of products from sneakers, tees, raincoats, to dog coats, wallpaper, and even bed linen and thermal loungewear. The unoriginal design is mostly images of hamburgers on a white background.
As reported on fashionmag.com, launched in Stockholm, the website is available in English and Swedish with items currently sold online in Swedish. All proceeds from the sale of product go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Kanye and Damon Dash buy online street wear brand
Public rants aside; Kanye West is no fool. Though West consistently complains that the fashion industry does not show him the respect he deserves, he may be earning respect with his recent acquisition of online street wear retailer, Karmaloop with hip-hop mogul Damon Dash.
“The Karmaloop thing is real … This is exactly how I saw things 10 years ago and he’s (West is) doing some s**t that even I couldn’t do but it’s not my place to speak on it … But let’s just say I am proud as f**k,” detailed West and Dash on Instagram.
Karmaloop filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March.
