“My job is to think always about the future of our company and how to move it forward. Stefan Larsson is exceptionally talented, and he will bring our company a fresh and exciting global perspective,” Lauren said in a fashionmag.com article. “We have been a leader in our industry for nearly 50 years, and this is just the beginning.”

Bag infringement
H&M, the Swedish fashion megabrand, is suing American megastore Forever 21 over copyright infringement, trade dress infringement, false dress designation of origin and unfair competition all for H&M’s ‘Beach Please’ tote bag. As reported in fashionmag.com, the beach bag in question began being sold in H&M stores and online in April 2014 with H&M filing copyright papers to federally register the bag effective in June of the same year.
Forever 21 began manufacturing and selling a similar bag soon after. H&M is demanding that Forever 21 permanently cease manufacturing, marketing and selling its version of the ‘Beach Please’ tote and to pay its profits from the bags to H&M.
