CFDA Awards are exciting, everyone anticipates who is going to win awards from this hallowed fashion organization every season. Though the CFDA Awards are about outstanding fashion and style in the American fashion market, this award shows’ red carpet does not pale next to the awards ceremony. That said, the fashion industry brings some of the best looks forward since attendees are there to honor the best in fashion. Fashion Reverie picked some of our favorite looks of the night.
Cher
It is always great to see Cher! Fashion icon showed up in a gothic Chrome Hearts look with sexy sheer tights and high platforms. Always looking fabulous.
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian accepted the Innovation Award for her brand Skims. She wore a strapless, black PVC Dolce & Gabbana gown.
Mariska Hargitay
Mariska Hargitay is on a roll with her red-carpet appearances. She found her designer match, Christian Siriano. The ball gown featured a tulle fishtail hemline and statement shoulders paired with diamond jewelry.
Christina Ricci
Christina Ricci, who is usually in dark colors, stepped away from the memo of the evening. The Rodarte cutout, floral, lace gown with floral and lace detailing was a success.
Janelle Monáe
Janelle Monáe turns the carpet into cabaret night wearing Thom Browne along with the famous puppy purse.
Khloé Kardashian
Fashion Reverie agrees with other fashion insiders that Khloé Kardashian was on fire! She made her CFDA Awards debut in a cross chest, cut-out bronze metallic LaQuan Smith gown. It was hard not to notice her fabulous look!
Katie Holmes
Katie Holmes was all sparkles in a Jonathan Simkhai cage mesh overlay dress with a fringe hemline. Her jewelry was also perfectly paired as she almost kicked off the holiday season.
CaSandra Diggs
President of the CFDA, CaSandra Diggs ruled the red carpet in an emerald-green fringed kaftan by Oscar de la Renta. This is her best look so far and it looks like she is only getting started.
