In this fourth episode of “Fashion Reverie Talks,” we had the first guests on the show. First, we were privileged to have Deborah Sawaf, creative director of Thalé Blanc, talk about her debut ready-to-wear collection which premiered at the recent New York Fashion Week (NYFW). Deborah was interviewed by fashionreverie.com celebrity style editor Tijana Ibrahimovic. And later in episode 4, fashionreverie.com managing editor Carl Ayers interviewed actor London Brown about his role in the third iteration of “Tales from the Hood.”
“Fashion Reverie Talks” also hosted a round table discussion—Carl Ayers, Tijana Ibrahimovic, Cicily Daniels—about the spring 2021 collections of Bibhu Mohapatra, Maxhosa, and Alice + Olivia from NYFW. This was NYFW’s first digital presentation, and though many top designers did not show, there were several top brands that continued the tradition of showing their collections.
As with do with every episode, there was thought-provoking fashion news, which included news about Sean Combs collaborating with fashion brand Missguided, Ralph Lauren Corp. announcing layoffs, and Lacoste ending their collaboration with rappers Romeo Elvis and Moha La Squale. True to form, “Fashion Reverie Talks” episode 4 is full of information, charm and humor. Stay tuned for the next episode!!
