Fashion Reverie’s Favorite Looks from the 2022 Billboard Awards

The 2022 Billboard Music Awards took over the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, with Sean “Diddy” Combs hosting and performing. Janet Jackson presented Mary J. Blige with the Icon Award. There were some other memorable moments, but the fashion was the most exciting and fun element of the evening.

Here are Fashion Reverie’s favorite looks of the evening: 

Kalis Uchis

Kalis stunned in a passionate red GCDS gown and Jimmy Choo sandals. It seems to be inspired by a mermaid from the “Gilded Age”? Right on trend. 

Giveon

Giveon is wearing Bottega Veneta. This is a very 80’s inspired look, mainly because of the print and double-breasted jacket. There are little neon green traces which is very 2022. 

Meghan Thee Stallion

Meghan Thee Stallion has been so on point lately, and her appearance at Billboard Awards helps solidify her fashion status. She wore a custom two-piece Mugler Official with asymmetrical halter strap and a slim train.   

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott

The couple showed up stylish at the 2022 Billboard Awards. Kylie in Balmain stole the show in a body (hugging) dress and Travis Scott in military green Givenchy. We love her cuff bracelets and manicure.

Doja Cat

Sleek ponytail, black angular dress, dramatic earrings, and nipple impression were all the elements that made Doja Cat stand out on the red carpet.  Doja Cat donned a pretty cool Saturn dress. This was one of the most memorable looks by Schiaparelli. Extra accessories like the gold Saturn bag completed her look. 

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly

MGK’s outfit was nice but his manicure? Expensive! 30,000 to be exact. Nails of LA founder Brittney Boyce collaborated with Marrow Fine Jewelry’s Jillian Sassone on the sparkling look, which featured 880 diamonds weighing in at a total of 11.4 carats.

Megan coordinated in an off-the-shoulder black David Koma gown with high slit and long sleeves adorned with crystal flower appliqués.
