Fashion Reverie’s Favorite Red Carpet Looks for the 2022 Video Music Awards

It is time for Fashion Reverie to pick favorites out of all the amazing looks that graced the 2022 Video Music Awards (VMAs) Red Carpet!  The event was held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and hosted by LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj, and Jack Harlow! It was exciting because of the exciting performances by Blackpink, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Lizzo, Panic! At the Disco, Maneskin, and Anitta. All gave exciting performances!!

The VMAs are known for killer red carpets, so below take a look at Fashion Reverie favorite red-carpet picks from the 2022 VMAs! 

Taylor Swift 

Girl Next Door Taylor Swift and her long legs sparkled in Oscar de la Renta.  There were sparkles, sparkles, and more glitter and sparkles everywhere which aligns with her next album release date on October 2. 

Anitta 

 Anitta always hits the right spot, on the red carpet that is. She was wearing Schiaparelli Couture. Her entire look was amazing. 

Lizzo 

Lizzo graced us with her presence in a beautiful Jean Paul Gaultier Couture look with Jennifer Fisher jewelry. She is 100% a star. 

Lil Nas X 

Lil Nas X has given us major hits and all his hard work has paid off. Lil Nas X won the “Best Collaboration” category at the MTV Video Music Awards for his hit” Industry Baby.” All that aside, his Harris Reed outfit was iconic.

Chloe Bailey

She was wearing a silver Zigman gown that has a corset top to show a little skin. This very sexy and eye-catching look was a more toned that than we have come to expect from Chloe Bailey.

Sheensea 

This is a perfect VMAs red-carpet look.  It was avantgarde, sexy, and red-carpet worthy. This Marc Jacobs look has many in one and a new direction for Marc Jacobs. 

Maneskin 

This pop group always “bring it” to the red carpet, as a whole. They are all wearing Gucci and each garment, though neutral color black, is beautiful and unique in its own way.
