Over the years we have seen many celebrities expand their careers beyond their initial talents. Some celebrities are born entrepreneurs and their ability to apply success to more then one project is inspiring and something we can all learn from.

Fashion Reverie has decided to highlight some female celebrity brands that are booming despite these celebs’ busy schedules and the COVID-19 crisis!

This business model seems to be ideal for the current COVID-19 pandemic lockdown where many consumers are working from, wearing comfortable clothes and trying to stay active while on lockdown.

Ok, they are no longer the adorable twins from the late 80s hit “Full House,” but who cares. Since adulthood Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have created one of the most successful celebrity fashion brands, The Row.

Launched in 2006, The Row has expanded to include ready-to-wear, resort, and accessories. And winning to CFDA women’s wear awards in 2012 and 2015 ain’t bad!! The success of The Row has placed Mary-Kate and Ashley in multi-millionaire heaven!!

Some of the Goop ideas are a bit extreme!! “Vagina” scented candles might be great for a certain kind of customer, but a bit much for some consumers. However, a potential collaboration with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is on the horizon which is an indication that Goop’s marketing methods are working. Goop’s collection of curated products from luxury beauty and sweaters to crystal-infused beverage, and self motivation books began as a newsletter offering lifestyle advice to readers. Now Goop is an exclusive shopping experience with none other than Gwyneth Paltrow.

We all know Rihanna as a trailblazer and a successful businesswoman/celebrity. Fenty Beauty launched in 2017 and instantly received a lot of attention not just because of Rihanna, but also because of its inclusivity. The beauty line offers foundation in 40 shades, providing a solution for people of all different skin colors. Also known for using diverse models, Fenty Beauty was named by Time magazine as one of the best brands of 2017. Since Rihanna took her all inclusive approach to the lingerie industry, creating Savage x Fenty, a size-inclusive lingerie brand, Rihanna’s empire seems to have no bounds.

Confirmed as of April 2020, Kylie Jenner is still the world’s youngest “self-made” billionaire and her net worth increased to 1.2 billion dollars as the founder of Kylie Cosmetics. Kylie did have an advantage a media personality and enormous support by her momanger Kris Jenner and the rest of her family. However, the idea for her cosmetics empire emerged from her own insecurity of the look of her lips.
