This has been a very challenging year!! The list is long and varied of all the things we have had to endure in 2020 with the most challenging being the COVID-19 pandemic. The havoc caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is too difficult to measure and it will take a longtime for global communities to recover. However, this is light at the end of the tunnel and despite deaths, infections, shutdowns and economic insecurities, in this holiday season there is still so much to celebrate and be grateful for.
Two COVID-19 vaccines have been created and is already being distributed to countries around the world. It is unprecedented to have effective vaccine created in so short a time. We can also celebrate a new administration coming to the White House in 2021. An administrative that will be more sympathetic to the needs of US citizens.
With all the hope on the horizon, Fashion Reverie wishes a happy holiday season to all our viewers, staff and supporters. Let this holiday season be a time of reflection on all that is good and a projection of good things to come.
In the words of Mame Dennis from the iconic film “Auntie Mame, “Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death.” This holiday season count your blessing. Yes, you are blessed and celebrate in style. Just celebrate in small numbers, social distanced, and with caution. You can do it!!
