This past weekend in the US was pretty turbulent, given we were all waiting and later celebrating the 2020 Presidential election results. To catch up on pop culture, MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA) 2020 celebrated the best music of the year and the biggest artists from all over the world. Held on November 8, Little Mix hosted the 27th annual ceremony. Only three members of Little Mix—Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall—attended. Jesy Nelson did not participate due to health reasons.
Performances for the MTV EMA’s were filmed at different locations around Europe due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The show was broadcast in 180 countries and Lady Gaga was the most nominated artist with seven nominations. Three new categories were introduced this year: Best Latin, Video for Good, and Best Virtual Live.
Here are seven of Fashion Reverie’s favorite looks!!
Rita Ora wore bright yellow, ruffled Giambattista Valli number styled by Karen Langley. This ruffled cocktail dress was topped with a black fascinator and matching ribbon on the bust of the dress.
The “Selfish” singer, Madison Beers, brought sexy back. looking very attractive in a custom-made Vivienne Westwood silk dress. Shimmery over-the-knee boots. One of her many looks of the evening!!
Becca Dudley who was a presenter of MTV EMA’s chose to wear a beaded red jumpsuit from Nadine Merabi. It fit her very well, she looked hot, but comfortable. Her hair slicked back in a faux mohawk made her look a little punk.
We always love seeing Supermodel Winnie Harlow at events because she always brings it! She sure is a fan of unique dresses, so for the 2020 MTV EMA’s, Winnie wore a candy-like striped Moschino dress with jewels from Gismondi 1754.
Yungblud seems to love the edgy looks. He attended the MTV EMA.s early from London and wore leopard strait-jacket inspired Chrome Hearts ensemble.
Oh Maluma! Always delicious no matter what he wears. However, Maluma wore a Lanvin ensemble which consisted of a light pink vest over a white buttoned-down shirt and wide leg pants.
Doja Cat strikes again. Per usual she showed a little bit of skin in a sheer, see-through Givenchy dress, accessorized with standout Neil Lane jewels.
