Though most of us know Paula Garces as the maniacal maid in Lifetime’s controversial “Devious Maids,” are acting credits are long and extremely varied. From a three-year run as Pilar Santos in the daytime drama “Guiding Light” to supporting roles in “Dangerous Minds,” “Clockstoppers,” “Marci X,” and “National Lampoon’s Pledge This!” to appearing in three “Harold & Kumar” films, Paula Garces has proven time and time again that can embrace a variety of characters.
Still, Paula Garces brings more to the table than great acting chops. She is an entrepreneur, helping to create and putting voice to the character Aluna, from the “Heroes of Newerth” online battle video game, a mother of two and a style icon in her own right. Consistently in the front row during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Paula counts Carmen Marc Valvo as one of her favorites designers.
