Warmer weather inspires some of the best garments, some think! However even though summer is coming to an end Fashion Reverie decided to focus on resort wear, made for travelers to warmer climates throughout the year. Best described as collections worn by jetsetters and celebrities, resort wear has also become the attire worn year-round by fashionable folks who know how to dress for resort relaxation.
While you may have just completed your summer plans and may not be heading to Dubai or other resort locations for end of the season fun; it is still summer and that means it’s the perfect time to take advantage of resort fashion, whether you’re vacationing in the Mediterranean or not.
Celebrities are showcasing their caftans, wedges, dinner jackets, breathable denim, nautical, and fruit prints for resort season. So, let’s check out some of the unique resort wear Fashion Reverie has spotted in 2019 that is truly inspiring us for summer. These are looks that you can easily improvise and add unique accessories to create your unique look.

Go Retro in High-Waisted Shorts
Chrissy Teigen is known for her high-waisted shorts look and there is nothing sexier to wear while on vacation. Nude shorts and all white top and shoes are an easy look to put together; and this combination still leaves an excellent, feminine impression. Though not a nude short, Carolina Herrera’s resort 2020 black top with black high-waisted short would look wonderful on Chrissy Teigen also.

Wear a Breezy Maxi-Dress
Tiffany Hsu, buying director for My Theresa, pulled of this maxi dress look flawlessly. Square-toed mules added an extra oh la la to it.

No Vacation without Kaftan
Kris Jenner is the queen of kaftans which are ideal to feel comfortable and colorful at your favorite resort location. No worries if you have a summer body ready or not, kaftan make everyone look good, just be sure to choose the right print, accessories, and quality of fabric.
Do you think Kris Jenner will look great in this kaftan-like dress from Cynthia Rowley’s resort 2020 collection? Fashion Reverie does!!

Stripes
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has a unique style and she looks flawless in striped dresses. Fashion Reverie loves the dark and bright contrasts found in striped garments. A garment like this can easily look for in different variations, depending on your budget and configuration of the stripes.
Prabal Gurung has designed a few striped outfits seen in his resort 2020 collection that will look so stylish on the Duchess of Sussex. Feast and enjoy!!

Shades of Blue with Oversized Hat
Sofia Vergara showed us how to leave a good impression on sandy beaches. Not everyone can wear wedges on the beach, but two shades of blue and an oversized hat is what Fashion Reverie calls resort chic. And for some night-time fun Vergara will look good in this pale blue Burnett NY resort 2020 jumpsuit.

Glitz and Glam for a Night Out on the Town
Resort fashion is more than great beach looks and lounging by the pool. Resort season extends to locations other than warm climates. Aspen, Gstaad, and Telluride are also resort destinations. And your favorite celebrates populate the cooler climates, as well as the temperate ones.
That said; a night out on the town in the cooler locales require some great glam fashion. And who can deliver that oeuvre better than Bibhu Mohapatra, as Viola Davis proves often wearing Bibhu on red carpets.
Tijana Ibrahimovic
